Description
The Master's in General Linguistics gives students the opportunity to specialise in one of the field's several sub-disciplines. All courses are taught in English, are task oriented and require a high degree of student involvement. Programme structure The Master's programme General Linguistics comprises 60 ECTS credits: 42 credits for seminars addressing sub-areas of linguistics. 18 credits for a Master's thesis. Over the course of the year, students must attend 6 extracurricular lectures offered by either the MA programme itself or the Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication (ACLC).
